HR Supervisor
ASI is searching for top-tier Human Resources Support who can help shape our future, make a deep impact in our company culture, and can help us achieve our goals and continue skyrocketing! The HR Supervisor at ASI is both a strategic and hands-on role where you will be a team player responsible for providing administrative and analytical support to all areas of the HR functions. As a key member of the HR team, this person will interface with employees at all levels of the organization. This role will report to Corp. HR Operations Manager and have a close collaboration with the Headquarter HR Team.

Accountabilities
  • Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment through effective priority management, executing processes that may not have defined procedures, taking initiative to complete unanticipated or ad hoc tasks and delivering work within deadline.
  • Oversee and collaborate with the LA Management team to support our growth.
  • Oversee all HR functions for LA Branch.
  • Administer LA benefit plans and serve as a liaison between the employees and the Headquarter.
  • Provide timely and reliable employee support that generates a high level of employee satisfaction and inspires confidence through effective communication, expert knowledge, and efficient escalation to resolve issues.
  • Assist with employee relation and investigating issues.
  • Support and enhance the company end to end talent lifecycle management process. Temp Agency management.
  • Ensure a best-in-class onboarding procedure is executed.
  • Contribute to the support and implementation of policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of California employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage and maintain the general office supplies and needs.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for employees, managers, and executive for all general HR inquiries and handling confidential matters.
  • Maintain HRIS, and become a subject matter expert and skilled end user for Dayforce/Ceridian and other HR technologies.
  • Assist in preparing payroll processing.
  • LA fire department inspection coordination, and fire extinguishers maintenance and replacement.
  • Landlord communication and facility management & maintenance.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the HR Department, and share best practices with the Headquarter HR Team.
  • Ensure all HR processes, standards and protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with the HR Team on coordinating/preparing all company events.
  • Administer LA Workerâ s Comp
  • Assist in executing Training and Development.
  • Work on special projects
  • Help to create and maintain a solid company culture.
  • Role may expand to include responsibilities for overseeing LA HR Department.
HR Supervisor Qualifications:
  • BA in Human Resource or related experience (8+ years).

  • PHR/SPHR is a plus

  • Must have minimum of 5 y ears Management/Leadership experience.

  • Must have payroll processing experience

  • Must have HRIS and benefits experience

  • Familiar with Dayforce/Ceridian is a plus.

  • Excellent grasp of state & federal termination laws, and experience ensuring compliance with those laws relative to administering Human Resources and Company policies.

  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills and ability to prepare grammatically correct and clear written reports, correspondences, and announcements.

  • Strong and proven ability to build good relationships with teammates and business leaders and work as a team.

  • Professionalism, proactive, organized, and strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, friendly demeanor, and must be approachable.

  • Ability to learn quickly and exercise good judgment.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Bilingual Chinese speaking preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
