Well established local company is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join their expanding team.
Maintain vendor production schedules and shipping
Data entry of production POs as well as issuing purchase orders to vendors
Maintaining and updating all internal tracking of any changes made to vendor purchase orders
Obtain customer required shipping documents from vendors
Tracking private-label orders to assure on-time delivery of goods per account requirements
Provide support and work closely with Sales, Purchasing and Customer Service
Other projects as assigned by Direct Supervisor
High level of proficiency in Excel; proficiency in Microsoft Office
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Import/FOB logistics
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Critical thinking abilities
Strong communication skills
Ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work using standards of good customer service

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
