Links Logistics is now hiring 10 new Forklift Operators for our Walnut, California Distribution Center (next to City of Industry) to pick product for inbound and outbound deliveries. Efficient Forklift skills, Warehouse Teamwork, and a Safety Orientation will make you the right candidate for these opportunities in our 24 hour operation. Responsibilities:
Operate the forklift and/or electric pallet jack in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
Pick product from beginning to end of shift according to the Logistics Coordinator's shipping schedule and support Warehouse Personnel
Load pallets containing product into truck and rail containers from racks or staging area for outbound shipping
Unload pallets containing product and puts away from inbound rail or truck deliveries as directed
Pick product according to directions received, and performs cycle counts
Maintain safety and general housekeeping by keeping the aisles and walkways clear
Must comply with SOP standards, other regulations pertaining to business, and safety in operation
Must have the ability to pick orders and stage for delivery
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the ability to operate a forklift/pallet jack safely and not damage product or company property (including clamp forklifts)
Must have knowledge of bar code and date stamp on products
Read and write in English
Must have the ability to read reports, track, and verify product documented for accuracy
Must be able to problem solve and provide assistance to less experienced Forklift Drivers
Must have the ability to interact with co-workers and trouble-shoot resolution to issues
