Duties - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies - Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service - Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment - Assist with food preparation, such as baking pastries or assembling sandwiches - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction Experience - Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred - Knowledge of retail math for cash handling and inventory management - Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety standards - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Understanding of the food industry and its trends - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating sales totals As a Barista, you will have the opportunity to create delicious beverages while providing exceptional customer service.
